MESSAGE FROM THE RECTOR OF ENU
Dear friends,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the second ENU International Model United Nations 2018 (ENUIMUN 2018) in Astana - the capital city of Kazakhstan. Our university is ready to become the meeting place for young talented and inspired people for the second time. In 2017, we had the honor to hold the first ENU International Model United Nations where more than 70 participants from more than 15 countries were able to exchange views on topical issues of world politics with their counterparts from other universities.
ENUIMUN 2018 is a four-day simulation of United Nations conference for university students. 160 delegates from 30 countries of the world are expected to negotiate in 7 committees and I think that they represent the most advanced and critical thinking minds of young people. I am sure that in the process of participating in this year's unique conference, you will obtain skills for your future political and foreign policy activities and contribute to the solution of relevant problems of international relations.
I would like to emphasize that this year's MUN conference is held on the eve of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Astana as the capital of Kazakhstan. Thus, along with your participation in the work of the conference, you will have a good chance to be in the center of the festival events.
