Message from the Secretary-General
I should like to extend my sincerest welcome to all participants of the first session of ENU International Model United Nations 2017. I should also like to avail myself of this opportunity to express my deepest appreciation to all delegates, chairs, and volunteers for their tireless effort to attend and contribute to the simulation of United Nations at L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University. I am honored and privileged to work with you on the United Nations agenda.
I also take this opportunity to speak on behalf of ENU MUN CLUB to pay indebtedness to the International Cooperation Department and the United Nations Department of Public Information - Representative Office in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the trust and confidence that they have placed on ENU Host Team. I would also like to extend my congratulations to members of ENU Host Team for the skillful and effective manner in which they conducted the preparatory steps of the first session of ENU International Model United Nations.
During the first session of ENU International Model United Nations, delegates will work in 7 committees on agendas around the theme "Future for All" and I believe that you will jointly discharge the important diplomatic responsibilities mandated to you by the Secretariat. Even though this is the first session of ENU International Model United Nations, I wish to assure all delegates and chairs that I shall do my utmost to ensure that our work is carried out expeditiously and that our endeavors meet with success. The most accurate simulation of United Nations committees with high-level negotiation will be our first priority.
