Christian S. Trenk

Chair of UN Human Rights Council

Christian was born and raised just outside Frankfurt am Main, Germany to where he always returned after times abroad in Cape Town and London. He is currently finishing his Master’s degree in Theology and Philosophy whilst pursuing a separate bachelor’s degree in Political Studies, Administrative Studies and Sociology.

His big passion and interest lie in dialogues between cultures, religions, nations, societies, classes and all kinds of different people, which was very much the core experience of every MUN-conference he has attended so far. He won Diplomacy Award at Harvard World MUN 2017 and Honorable Mention at London International MUN 2017.

When he is not involved with his studies and MUN, he loves traveling, history and all things Tolkien-related. He has, unfortunately, never been to Central Asia before and is very much looking forward to getting to know Astana, Kazakhstan and many interesting and amazing people there.
